2/10/2016 - So I need potty training tips. My son turned three the beginning of January. I usually wait util my boys wake up dry for a few nights in a row. So far that isn't happening with him. However, he whines almost everytime he pees. I have tried just sitting him on the potty to what he would do. Sometimes he gets excited, but a lot of the time he doesn't stay seated. And he has never gone. He is driving me cray with the whinning. "Mommy, I peed" all day long. So I don't even know how to tell if he's ready or not now. If he's noticing that much that he peed, but then refuses to to go when he's on the potty?? I never experienced this with my older two. I am at a loss. I have even tried bribery and it doesn't help.
2/11/2016 - I need to ask for more prayers for my family. My mom (Kathy Johnston) is in the ICU again. She has been suffering from a kidney infection this time. l She ended up going to the ER because her fever got up to 103. (Which is scary with her heart condition). They discovered she has a kidney stone as well. Her blood pressure dropped dangerously low so they took her into emergency surgery to install a stint to pass the stone so she doesn't go septic. And I'm going to be greedy and ask for some prayers for my Grandpa Johnston as well. He is also in the hospital. They think he may have lung cancer. I hate that I can't just hop on a plane to be with my family. :( I feel so helpless.
2/13/2016 - My mom (Kathy Johnston) is doing well today. She was moved to a regular room and is open to having visitors. Fever is gone and BP is normal. She is completely out of danger. They still have not seen the stone, but the stint will remain in place for awhile longer. Thank you SO much for all the prayers. I know they helped a ton!!
2/18/2016 - Funny how since we left El Paso 3 1/2 months ago, we have only gotten one cold. Someone in our house was getting sick at least once a month when we lived out there. That city is infested, I swear! Guess we really built up a good immune system because of it. lol
2/20/2016 - So I lost my Grandpa Johnston yesterday morning. He was my only living grandfather. He was diagnosed with lung cancer this week. It had reached his bones and progressed quickly. He had been a smoker for 67 years! I wasn't very close to him and unfortunately hadn't seen him in over a decade, but it's always hard to lose a family member. I only pray for comfort for my family during this time.
I wanted so badly to go to his funeral, but my dad didn't want me to have to spend the money. I regret not going. This is his obiturary.

2/27/2016 - As a parent of a baby with aortic stenosis, this is amazing news! Hopefully by the time he needs his valve replaced, this will be perfected.

2/27/2016 - On Tuesday we get our big ultrasound for baby number 5!! I am very anxious! Boy or girl?? (Of course, it's another boy).
Travin fell asleep during dinner. I'm sure it was a day when he didn't take a nap. All but my last baby has done this so far at some point.

Cayden loves his donut!
Someone had to have their own ice cream cone!
The second time he pulled off his cast. Luckily it was about to get taken off in five days anyway. Little stinker!!
Crazy hair day at school!
I can't remember why I took this picture. I think the kids made those marks with some toy or something. Luckily when they were fixing the ceiling, they painted the walls too.
