April 2016

From Facebook...

4/1/2016 - 15 weeks before baby gets here and I'm a little nervous I may have to labor on my own. We have always been blessed to have family or close friends near by to help watch my other minions so my hubby could come, but I have no clue who to have watch them this time as the family that is close by is in no position to help. Anyone else been in a position like this? Any ideas?

4/5/2016 - I'm not much of a waddler while pregnant. But man, this baby has been sitting so low for the past month or so, that I have to move my legs outwards while going upstairs! Thanks a lot little man!

4/14/2016 - If anyone is awake, we could use some prayers. My husband just took my 18m to the ER. He has a low fever, but seems to be having small seizures every few minutes. My guess is a febrile seizure, but his fever is barely over 100°. None of my other kids have ever had this. It's 2:30 am and I wish I could be with my baby.

ETA - He ended up getting lots of fluids, an x-ray and some blood tests and everything came back normal. Kylann was able to get him to laugh a little too. He said he tooted and laughed a little after. Our bishop went to the hospital and gave him a blessing as well. It was so scary. None of the other kids have every done that. Luckily they WERE febrile seizures.

4/16/2016 - So after a little over a year, I am still having bad hip pain every time I sleep. It has now grown to my whole side and my back now. I'm sure pregnancy hasn't helped. This did start before I got pregnant. I have tried a chiropractor, getting a new mattress, even had some x-rays (before I was pregnant). Nothing is working! Oh and I always sleep with a pillow between my legs. I am a side sleeper. Since I'm pregnant, there is no other position I can sleep right now anyway. We have thought about an Intellibed, but they are so darn expensive. And at this point, I'm not sure it would help. I don't know what to do. I have talked to two doctors and a chiropractor, and none of them could tell me what was wrong. They wanted to start me on physical therapy, but I haven't yet. I am so done with it! I can't hardly sleep at night at all. Anyone have any recommendations for an amazing mattress at least? We have a memory foam from Costco currently.

4/25/2016 - First day of potty training and I am ready to give up!! Nothing but accidents today. And it doesn't seem to bother him at all. Of course he whines like crazy when he pees in his diaper. I don't get it. I have NO idea how to train this kid!!! He turned three in January! And I don't want to have three kids in diapers. I will seriously pay someone to potty train this kid. No joke!!!

4/26/2016 - Travin keeps telling his baby brother, "Leave me a freaking lone." I shouldn't laugh, but it sounds so funny coming from a three year old. I think that word probably needs to come out of this house though. lol

4/30/2016 - So the tooth fairy forgot three nights in a row.  What are some good excuses for forgetting that much?

Happy Caydo!

Don't mind the kitchen mess. This was our little "window" area by the kitchen and living room. I just loved my little picture set up. Even if it wasn't even at all. :)

4/10/2016 - So we went to The Museum of Ancient Life (aka the dinosaur museum) at Thanksgiving Point this weekend and when we came across this giant shark. My three year old stares at it in aww and says, "Oh my freaking gosh!" Haha! One of the many phrases he learned from his brothers.

Digging for dinosaur bones

The start of my niece's butterfly towel. Still one of my favorites I've made. I'll post the finished product later on.

From Facebook - 4/16/2016 - 1:10pm - Cayden has been sleeping since he got back from the ER around 6am. Fever broke, then came back a little higher. He has the shakes again. We go see the doctor in a couple of hours. Hopefully we don't have to go back to the ER.

From Facebook - 4/16/2016 - 10:58pm - For those wondering, Cayden is doing a lot better. no more fever or seizures. He has been up and walking around, playing a bit and smiling since yesterday. And he is finally eating a little. He is still super tired though. I hope we will be back to normal in a few days. I miss my happy, goofy little boy.

There's nothing on my face mom. I don't know what you're talking about!!! This child!! Got into my lipstick!

Cracked me up! This little stinker!

Little stinker got maple syrup all over his face and hair. I think he stuck his fork in his hair. Guess he thought it was a dingle-hopper.

Perfect little chair for Cayden!

We went to the Reptile Expo in Salt Lake and Kyler (6) kept wanting to hold the snakes! Chase (8) barely held a gecko and a turtle. He was a bit chicken. And my three year old was terrified of everything!! Cayden (18m) got mad when he couldn't touch something. lol...The kid has no fear of living things.

We had visited my friend, Danielle who breeds bull dogs. Cayden loved the puppies.

Fun with filters again!

Cayden dancing a little

So we had a little fun with this monkey filter. LOL
