The 4th of July

The morning of the 4th of July, we tried to go and see the hot air balloon festival in downtown Provo. However, we were too late to see them blowing them up. BUT as we were driving around I spotted one that had landed in a business parking lot. So I took the boys over there and we stopped and watched. They were so amazed by it!

Kyler's reaction when he first heard the fire go up in the balloon. So cute!

Chase and Kyler watching them shoot the fire up in the hot air balloon.

We found one that was being taken down. The boys had a fun time watching them. These people even gave them a hot air balloon sticker afterwards.

They really wanted to get in it afterwards.

After the balloon excitement, we went over to the area where they had the annual parade. We couldn't find a shaded spot and the boys got really hot and wanted to leave early. But they had fun while we were there despite the heat.

I was pouring water down their backs and
on their heads to keep them cool.
Poor kids.

Don't you wish you had a pair of skin tight neon green pants to wear? I do! LOL

Later that evening, we made it over to Pleasant Grove to watch their fireworks show. I was a little worried cause Chase has always been scared of the noises. But they did awesome and LOVED it!

All ready for the show to start.

Kyler got a huge piece and stuffed it in
his mouth.

Kyler thought it got a little loud at some parts. LOL

First time with sparklers!!

They were in love!!

Happy Fourth of July! But most importantly...Thank you to all who serve and have served our country. We wouldn't have the privileges we do today if it weren't for our soldiers. I wish more people could realize the sacrifice they all make each day. Thank you!
