Our visit to Tucson...

At the end of August, we had the opportunity to travel to Tucson so we could see Kylann. It was a nice break and SO wonderful to see Kylann. The best part was, I didn't tell the boys that we were going to see him. So they were super surprised!
When we went to pick up Kylann, I got Kyler out of the car first. And then I was trying to get the right setting on my camera since it doesn't do well in the dark. I didn't notice that he was already walking over to us. Kylann called out Kyler's name and he immediately saw him, said, "DADDY!!", then ran over to him. They were both SO happy. It was awesome! Kylann was worried Kyler had forgotten him.

We went to dinner that night and then had to take him back to the barracks. But then the next day we picked him up and he was able to spend three nights with us for a holiday weekend. We had a blast. The boys were SO happy to be with their daddy.

                  Kylann was a little sunburnt...

We went to visit Grandma Penrod and she gave the boys their Halloween costumes that she found for them.

Our niece, Sophia...

Our nephew, Merlin the boys and I got to meet him for the first time. He's a cutie!

Sophia loved her cousin, Merlin. Merlin, wasn't so sure...LOL

Grandma and Merlin

The boys loved Grandma's dog, Kiddles. Chase had a bad allergic reaction to her, unfortunately.

This is the what Kyler was doing in the background. If anyone was wondering. LOL

Kyler and Chase trying on Grandma's jewelry

We stayed with our friend, Sandee for most of the time. The boys love it there.

I took the boys to a fun play area that had jumping castles and blow up slides. The boys love it!

At one point, Kyler went to the corner and pouted. Little did I know, his feet ended up unplugging the jumping castle he was next too. Oops! How embarrassing! But  really, you'd think they'd have covers for those outlets.

Exhausting day for Chase

Our last night seeing Daddy...

I love this picture!!

Kyler wouldn't give Daddy a kiss, so Kylann grabbed him and gave him one instead.

My sexy soldier

On the drive home. Chase was NOT tired. LOL

It was a long drive there and back, but we made it. Thank you SO much to the Telford's for letting us bum a ride with them. I hope we weren't too much of a burden on them.

August 2012

Wow! I'm so behind on my posts. There's not a whole of you who read them, but the few that do, I'm sorry. My main issue is that I lost the charge cord to my camera, so I haven't really been able to take too many pictures. Which is killing me!

August is kind of a blur to me. But here are some cute pictures and videos from my phone...

We went to visit one of my old friends from back east who lives in Salt Lake. Her dog had puppies. How cute are they?

Chase is in love. I wish I could get this
boy his own puppy. :o(

This little man wants a dog so bad! Unfortunately, we're finding out he's allergic. :o( But it may only be with certain breeds. Old English Bulldogs is one.

These boys LOVED the puppies!

My friend Brent (Danielle's brother), jumping and having a blast with the kids on the trampoline. It was the first time I'd seen him in over 10 years. He hasn't changed much at all! Still a kid himself. Haha!
They had a tire swing that the boys loved! Brent hadfun making them dizzy. Poor kids.

Chase took ISR swim lessons over the summer. It wasn't in August, but I don't think I ever posted it. He was scared the first few times, but quickly got the hang of it. He did really well. Just needed a few more lessons, which we couldn't afford to give him. :o( He was almost completely swimming on his own!! So proud of him.

She gave Kyler a couple of free lessons. And he did awesome!! I really wish we could have gotten him in for full lessons too. :o( (Don't mind my terrible video taping at the end).

My friend Allison came from Tucson for a family reunion with her family. She invited us to come bowling with them so we could spend some time together. It was the first time the boys had been bowling and they had a blast!! One of these days we'll have to take them again.

I had a hard time breaking them away
from "playing" in the video arcades.

I met up with two old roommates from college at a splash pad in Provo. They boys LOVED it! And it was great to catch up with the girls for a little while.

Shawna, April and Me. Love these girls!

Kyler discovered he could climb in the dryer. And of course his big brother had to join him!

This is how Kyler looked one day when he took a nap on the couch. LOL He's rockin that bed head!

And this is how Chase fell asleep in the car one day. Doesn't look very comfortable to me.

Kyler being a ham with his chocolate mouth and face!

I think these boys could live outdoors if
I let them!

Kyler and his many sleep positions...

Chase and I went on a "date" to see Brave! He LOVED it!

The boys and our little dance parties...

Kyler kept picking up the faucet on their play kitchen and saying, "Hi Daddy. Bye." "Hi Daddy. I love you. Bye." It was cute.

Just being goofy at dinner...

They were laughing at some pictures on the computer
that Grandma Penrod had sent them.

Kyler in church. I think he was ready for class to start.

Putting stickers on the floor at church. Yay!

The boys decided they needed to re-organize the dvds one day. Grrr!

Our neighbor gave us some extra big Otter Pops that she had left over. The boys were in Heaven!

I think this was suppose to be a picture
of Daddy from Chase. ;o)

I found some more videos from June and July. Stay tuned...
