Party Time!

So May 3rd came and went. We didn't didn't do anything special. Poor Chase! His second birthday and we didn't do a thing for him, besides a couple new small toys and of course presents from the grandparents. We started feeling pretty guilty that we missed his birthday without celebrating. We knew that he wouldn't know the difference, but we still felt guilty. Especially since we haven't been able to do much just for him since he got a new little brother. SO, we decided we would plan a little party for him. Just family. We took him to Chuck E Cheese's on May 22nd and he had a blast!! We had to break him away from all the rides to get him to eat and open gifts. He was happy once he did though.

We got him a Thomas the Train cake and tried to run the train on the frosting tracks. LOL! Towards the end of the night he figured out how to start the rides himself. We had put some tokens in his pocket and he just went all around riding on whatever he could. :o) I'm so glad we were able to celebrate our little man's birthday and have him get to do something fun, just for him. He is growing up so fast, I hope I don't miss the little moments. I've been waiting on some pictures before I posted this, but the small amount that I took will just have to do for now. Stay tuned for more, hopefully.

It took forever to get him to put this hat on long enough to take a picture.

He had to push the "toot, toot" on the track. LOL

Of course He had to have his own cup with a straw! He LOVES to use straws!

Little piggy had about three slices of pizza. It was not very good pizza either, so I guess he must have been pretty hungry.

Tyler, Ezra and Chase all had Thomas the train cakes! How funny! I really want a chuck e cheese out here. That's where Tyler went too and it looks so fun. That's so nice of you guys to celebrate his birthday there. Wish we could've come :(

I know! I noticed that too. They are definitely family! I wish you guys could have been there too. :o( I wish you had a Chuck-E-Cheese out there too. Ezra would LOVE it! Do they have one in Salt Lake? You should just come to visit and then we can take him.
