Small blessings...

A small little blessing happened this week. Kylann got a call from his boss to tell him that they were moving his route around so they can fit him in to do bee appointments. Which could mean more money, depending on how many of those he gets, but really sucky hours! So his boss spoke up for him. Since he is such a hard worker and is constantly getting compliments from his clients, he was able to get them to let him take his work vehicle home. They usually don't allow you to do this until you've been with the company for a year. Kylann has only been with them for four months. It has always been very difficult for us only having one car. Especially on days when I need it for a doctors appointment or whatever else. It would be nice if I could just take him to work each day that I need it, but he leaves the house by 6am and it's so hard to have Chase get up that early since he is such a terrible sleeper. He is just not a happy camper for most of the day. So now I finally have access to a car during the day! I feel like I have more freedom and I'm not confined to my apt all day. I love it!! This is actually a big blessing for us at this time. Especially with me getting closer to having this baby....

Speaking of, I seem to be slacking with these prego pictures, but here a few more I took today.

I'm a little over 30 weeks along right now. 10 more weeks to go! Ahhh! I'm actually getting pretty nervous about it. I'm doing things a little differently this time around. I go to a birth center which means I see a midwife instead of a doctor. AND I'm trying for a water birth. That is the part I'm super nervous for. If my labor goes as it did with Chase (all 41 hours of it), I don't think I'm going to be able to handle it very well without pain medication. But I really did want to try and go without drugs with Chase, so I'm hoping that I can be tough with this one. It's a lot healthier for me and for the baby. Plus it's suppose to make labor go faster too....

Kylann thought it would be funny to wrap Chase up like a burrito in our exercise mat. LOL...Poor kid! He had fun when Kylann did it, but didn't like lying there while I took the pictures. We're such torturous (sp) parents, huh?

This is one of Chase's Christmas presents. He is ALWAYS trying to play with our computer, so we thought we would get him his own laptop. No, it's not real...I think we would be getting ourselves one first if we had that kind of money. I know, we're selfish. :o) This is made for kids 5 and up. Obviously he hasn't figured out how to play the games and such, but he has a blast pushing all the buttons and playing with the mouse.

I gave Chase a cookie the other day and crawled right up on the couch and just chilled while he ate it. I thought it was pretty cute.

One more thing that I don't think I've mentioned yet. Kylann has finally heard from the Border Patrol. He heard from them in November and they told him he will need to take the fitness test he will be taking in the academy 30 days before he goes in. So if he passes this test, he will be heading to the Border Patrol Academy in Arcadia, New Mexico for 5 months. We still don't have any idea when he is going to take this test, but we keeping our fingers crossed it's after the baby comes. I will keep you posted as to what happens. For now, please just keep us in your prayers that he passes this test. We really need this job. And Kylann REALLY wants it too. :o)

I hope everything continues to go well for you guys! You look wonderful, nice and big and pregnant. Do you have a name chosen yet?

Thanks Jenna! We are leaning towards, Kyler, but we're still not completely sure. How is your pregnancy going?

3/4 done! You can do it! I admire you for going to the birthing center! I didn't do drugs, but still liked having the option.

Thanks Leann. I have the option to give birth in the Hospital too. So if I decide I want drugs or if there are complications I can go there. Plus my midwife comes with me.

I had a 36 hour labor with my first and then about 7 or six hours with my second. I don't think yours will be quite as long this time around either. Every delivery is different. Hopefully this one will be easier

Yeah. I've heard the second birth goes a lot faster. I just hope I can handle the pain.
