Well, we are finally in our own place again. Yay! Man was it a stressful week. We first started moving on the evening of Saturday, the 24th. We found a nice place on the same side of town with an awesome deal! We decided to go with a two bedroom one bath. They had this great deal going on that if you signed a year lease you get $100 off rent each month. Plus water, gas and sewage were also included in the price. We only pay for electric. So when we went in to talk to them again...three days after Kylann had talked to them about it, they had just rented out the last one. If only we had the money to pay the deposit we could have had it held for us. Dang it!!! They did have some two bed/two bath units available for $30 more a month. Not really in our price range, but it's the best deal we've found yet. We pay just a little over $500 for about an 800 sq ft two bed, two bath. Not a bad deal! So we had to wait for our credit and renter's history check to go through before we could move in. Luckily we were able to get in that same day. We were really hoping for this since Kylann had the day off and his brother was able to come with his truck to help us move the big stuff. Since we had no idea where we were going to be moving or when, we hadn't packed a whole lot of stuff. So basically we had to pack as we moved, which I HATE doing, but what can ya do? We had to have all of our stuff out basically by Thursday since the house was going up for auction on Friday (30th). So we Thursday night, in the dark (electric was turned off), we moved the last bit of our stuff into our new apartment. The whole dining room and living room area was FULL of boxes and such. I should have taken a picture of it. It was very overwhelming walking into this place and seeing this mess. It's amazing how much stuff you can accumulate over the years. I had no idea we kept so much junk! So far we've given about 6 boxes of stuff to Deseret Industries. And I know we have more to give. Geesh! But it's all in and now the fun part is finding where to put everything. It's a huge relief to have our own place again, but also a little stressful as well, as we're still not financially stable enough as we want to be. But we gotta do what we gotta do. I will post pictures once we get a bit more settled. It's a MESS right now and I would be embarrassed to have anyone come over.
So last year I had this wonderful idea of Chase being a Yard/Garden Gnome. I then though it would be awesome if Kylann and I also dressed up as Gnomes and we could be the Gnome Family. However, that part didn't work out quite like I planned due to us being busy with moving and the money part. Oh well, We did, however, get Chase's costume set up. All thanks to Grandma Collins (Penrod). We had a hard time getting a good picture of him, but at least you can see what the costume looks like and how adorable he was. Everyone at our church's "Trunk-or-Treat" loved it! They all said he was the Travelocity Gnome. Now we need to decide next year's costumes for two kids. Any ideas? We love creative ones that no one else thinks of.
Our drunk gnome!! Hahah! He was SO tired of us taking pictures by this time. He went in the corner and was saying, Noooo!

One more of our "tortured" child...

He had a blast getting all the candy though. He kept going back for more. Greedy little child. :o) At first he had no idea what was going on. Then he got the hang of it. He would take the candy that was handed to him and turn to us to put it in his Halloween bag. He hasn't had too much of it yet, but he knows whats in the bag every time he sees it. FYI...Halloween candy is very BAD for pregnant women!! :o)
