First Sonogram

I had my first Sonogram on Friday to get the Down Syndrome test. The baby didn't cooperate. It was suppose to turn facing us so they could measure the neck, but it just stayed on it's side. Guess I got another stubborn baby coming to us. Oh joy! :o) Oh and we were talking about the sex and how Kylann is convinced it's a girl. She turned the wand to the legs and we did see something hanging in the middle of them, but it really is still too soon to tell. I'm gonna laugh if it's a boy though. He is just SO sure it's a girl!

When the tech was shaking my belly to get the baby to turn, he/she decided to stretch out it's legs and stick it's little booty up in the air.

Daddy took us to the zoo!

On Labor Day we decided we would make a trip to the zoo. Since Kylann actually had a day off. We ended up getting out there a little later than expected and of course it ran into Chase's nap time. But we still had fun even though we had a tired, hot boy. Chase was most interested in the birds. He liked to chase them around. Oh and one of the birds was sitting on the ground by the path and it seriously started growling at us when we got close. I've never seen anything like it! We got to watch an elephant take a bath, which he was pretty interested in too, but mostly it was the birds. Weird kid.

There was a little splash area for the kids. Chase wasn't so sure about it as he kept getting sprayed in the face, but he finally warmed up to it after awhile and had a blast!

See how pink his little cheeks were. It was a very hot day! What day isn't hot in AZ though?

Daddy had some fun in the gift shop...LOL
